FaxBack provides partners with the industry's first and only certified VoIP plug-in for Microsoft Fax for free
Los Angeles, CA at ITEXPO West 2009 - September 1, 2009 -- FaxBack®, a leading provider of reliable VoIP fax server solutions for business, enterprise and carrier applications, today announced a new partner program designed to help telecom equipment makers and service providers add Microsoft Fax capabilities into their VoIP telecom offerings, for free.
Microsoft Fax, which is included in the business versions of the Windows operating system, is one of the simplest and most widely-available fax clients in the industry. Until FaxBack released its certified VoIP plug in, Microsoft's analog fax technology required users to connect to a PBX via modem. But now, FaxBack's VoIP plug-in brings Microsoft's fax client into the VoIP realm, enabling SMB and enterprise customers to combine the simplicity of Microsoft Fax, with the cost savings of VoIP.
FaxBack's Microsoft Fax Partner Program is targeted towards three segments of the IP communications industry:
By giving the Microsoft VoIP Fax Plug-in away for free, FaxBack adds value to its partners by helping them extend their offerings with reliable VoIP-fax capabilities that enable their end users to send, receive, print and manage faxes directly from their desktop. For end users that require more advanced functionality, FaxBack has also introduced a migration path to its award-winning NET SatisFAXtion VoIP Fax Server offering.
"Our Quadro IP-PBXs deliver the IP-communications capabilities that SMB, SOHO, and small enterprise customers seek, at dramatically reduced costs," said Warren Sonnen, Director of Product Management for Epygi Technologies. "By working with FaxBack, we're able to deliver more of a true, unified-communications solution, by adding desktop fax and print-to-fax capabilities into our offerings."
For Partners targeting service providers that sell to larger enterprise and carrier markets, FaxBack's new partner program provides a first-step towards working together to incorporate FaxBack's carrier-grade Net SatisFAXtion VoIP-Server into their offerings.
"Many service providers see value in offering reliable hosted fax solutions to their enterprise and SMB customers, and we're working with FaxBack to ensure interoperability between FaxBack's range of VoIP-fax solutions and our Tmedia family of carrier-grade media gateways," said Bill Kelly, Director of Business Development and Partner Alliances for TelcoBridges.
"We're giving away our Microsoft Fax VoIP Plug-in to partners targeting the SMB space that are interested in adding a free and convenient fax solution into their offerings," said Brian Keep, Director of Marketing for FaxBack. "This program also serves to introduce FaxBack, and our award-winning NET SatisFAXtion VoIP Fax Server, to other partners that target the larger enterprise market. We invite anyone at ITEXPO who offers a VoIP solution or service to visit our booth, to learn more about partnering opportunities with FaxBack."
FaxBack's Microsoft Fax VoIP Plug-in technology is certified by Microsoft, and leading carriers including AT&T, Qwest, and Global Crossing, among others.
